US BLINDSTITCH 108

This was my first Blindstitch. machine. I was so excited to get this hunk of rust. The table it came installed in, a B. Grossbard, made this machine an absolutely rare and a true San Francisco find! Sadly, while having been stored inside a garage, it was left uncovered and environmental dust and debris that landed on the body deteriorated the surface of the decals. They literally dissolved upon touch. I am still working on the table and the machine has been hacked to sit on my standard industrial table. Connecting it to a servo motor means I can manage the reverse option at the flip of a switch to run on this machine, which requires the handwheel to move away from you in a clockwise direction versus toward you with a standard machine.
